Description:Corporate Insight is a leading provider of market research and competitive intelligence for the brokerage, banking, asset management and insurance industries. Our clients are leaders in their respective industries. They rely on our objective analyses and thought leadership to shape and improve the experience they offer to prospects, clients and advisors. We have grown considerably in the last two years and are poised to enter several new markets in the next 18 months. We are seeking motivated self-starters to support our growing team of analysts. The ideal candidate is tenacious, detail oriented and works well in a team environment. New analysts constantly scan their assigned industry for changes that affect the customer experience and issue reports on notable developments.
Duties:The Research Associate role is an entry-level position, is critical to assembling the baseline of our analyses and is the foundation of our research. New RAs will be part of a small team of analysts that serve as a content experts for the industry to which they are assigned. As you develop your expertise, you will be called on to manage special projects, including ad hoc requests as well as small consulting projects as requested by our clients. As a part of your role, you will also be expected to work across product lines to share key insights from your industry with other Corporate Insight teams.
    Responsibilities:

    A Research Associate supports the Senior Analyst for their industry in a variety of ways. Each research team is responsible for delivering research reports on a set schedule, and successful candidates must be organized and able to manage multiple projects. Your specific responsibilities will include the following:

    • Execute the company's research methodology with a high degree of care
    • Evaluate the customer experience for changes and best practices among a target set of leading financial institutions
    • Produce detailed coverage of new changes and emerging trends that are accurate and insightful
    • Work with team members on shared projects and research, with focus on quality writing and analysis
    • Prepare reports that are completed in a timely manner
    • Create blog posts and white papers on your industry that support our public voice
    • Prepare PowerPoint presentations that synthesize each month's research for clients
Qualifications:We are looking for bright, outgoing and intellectually curious people that are a pleasure to work with, enjoy a challenge and will work hard to help our clients succeed. The ideal candidate has the following mix of experience, skills and personal attributes:
  • BA/BS from a top college or university with a strong academic record
  • Exceptional writing and speaking skills
  • Previous work experience in a business environment (e.g., internships with financial services or consulting firms)
  • A team player who is respectful of other colleagues
  • The ability to handle multiple projects, with multiple deadlines, simultaneously
  • A sense of humor, a positive attitude and a commitment to their work
